Because motor vehicles are titled assets and regulated under state law, most vehicle sales are considered final once purchase documents have been completed and ownership has been transferred.

However, Benton Ford is committed to customer satisfaction and transparency. If a concern arises after purchase, our team will review the situation and work with customers toward a reasonable resolution when appropriate.

Defective or Misrepresented Vehicles

If a vehicle is found to have a significant mechanical issue or material misrepresentation that was not disclosed prior to purchase, Benton Ford may review the situation and assist with a resolution, which may include:

  • Repair of the issue through our service department

  • Assistance with manufacturer warranty coverage

  • Possible exchange options depending on the situation

All cases are evaluated individually by dealership management.

Used Vehicle Purchases

Pre-owned vehicles are sold according to the terms outlined in the buyer’s order and applicable Kentucky dealership regulations.

Some used vehicles may be sold as-is, unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase.

Exchanges

Vehicle exchanges may be considered at the discretion of Benton Ford management and may depend on:

  • Transaction timing

  • Available inventory
